St. Even

St. Even
Once, long ago when Steve Hefter was but a child, he got lost at the Maryland State Fair. For four hours he wandered amongst the lights and laughter, unsupervised, frightened but exillherated. He didn’t see an old gypsy woman in a dark off-site tent, no, that would be cliche. He was found by a concerned policeman as the carnival night was winding down. Ever since then he has taken to roaming, from coast to coast, city to city. Every place he travels is marked by his music and the stories of the people he meets and sights he sees have been rendered holy and sanctified in his new project, St. Even.
